UK consumer cancellations for standard goods bought online

If you are a UK consumer buying standard goods online, you may cancel your order without giving a reason by telling us within 14 days after the day you receive the goods. You must then send the goods back within 14 days after telling us that you are cancelling.

You can notify us using our returns form or by a clear statement through our contact page. Please include your order number. Contacting us for return instructions helps us identify your parcel, but obtaining an RMA number is not a condition of exercising your statutory cancellation right.

For a change-of-mind return, you must arrange and pay the direct cost of return postage. Please package the goods securely and keep proof of postage. We do not charge a restocking fee for a valid statutory cancellation.

We will refund the goods and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option for the cancelled order. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we do not have to refund the additional cost. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. We will refund you within 14 days of that event, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.

You may examine the goods as you would in a shop. We may deduct for a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning. Opening the packaging to inspect an item does not, by itself, remove your cancellation right.

The change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. An item is not excluded merely because it was out of stock or specially ordered. Separate rules apply to services and digital content.

Faulty goods, goods that are not as described, and goods that do not meet the applicable statutory standards are covered by separate consumer rights. Contact us about the problem so we can arrange the appropriate remedy and reasonable return costs. Custom-made goods remain subject to these statutory rights.

The statutory cancellation terms above take precedence over any conflicting 21-day deadline, original-packaging requirement, restocking charge or exclusion elsewhere in our terms. They do not restrict any other rights you have under applicable law.
