Description
This USB to UART Serial TTL Cable provides a simple serial connection between a computer and compatible microcontrollers, control boards and other electronic devices. Use it to send commands, read measurements, monitor diagnostic output or configure equipment through suitable serial software.
The USB-to-serial converter is built into the cable, with a USB-A plug at one end and four individual female connectors at the other. The separate connectors allow connections to be arranged to suit the target device’s pinout.
Connect the cable’s TX to the device’s RX, RX to TX, and GND to GND. Check the wiring and signal-voltage compatibility before use. Connect the power lead only where required and permitted by the target device’s documentation.
This cable provides TTL-level UART communication and must not be connected directly to an RS-232 port. A suitable USB serial driver may be required.
