Medium High Voltage Diodes

These are great diodes for a huge range of applications. they are normally used in battery operated circuits or for rectifying mains voltage.

By stringing them together in series it is possible to create a high voltage diode that can be used with the plasma globe above. This is about the simplest way to make a high voltage DC power supply that is capable of powering small ElectroHydroDynamic Thrusters.

Helium Cylinder and 50 Balloons

Helium is a gas commonly used in plasma globes as it can produce an orange/red plasma. This balloon helium can be used for simple experiments such as a homemade plasma globe, or it could just be used for filling balloons!
