Wireless Telephone Line EXtender

This product turns ordinary electrical sockets into telephone outlets. It is suitable for use with PC, Set Top Box, Telephone or Fax. No extra wiring is required and it is completely portable. Compatible with PC modems. Simply plug in the base unit near to the master telephone socket, a through connector allows connection to the master socket without interrupting the existing phone. The extension unit can then be plugged in anywhere in any room where a mains socket is located to give you an additional telephone socket without having to run unsightly cables

Turns ordinary electrical sockets into telephone outlets (no extra wiring required) through Phone Line Carrier technology. These can be used to connect computer modems, video set-top-boxes, Internet appliances, phone of fax machine and other data oriented devices to the phone line. The product consists of a base unit and an extension unit. Both units are adapter-type plugs, which fit the electrical sockets in the home. In each unit there is a facility for plugging in a telephone plug. The base unit is plugged into the telephone socket, close to the telephone. At a second location (e.g. at the computer) the extension unit is plugged in and connected with telephone wire to the equipment which needs a telephone signal. The product has a Plug-In and Play concept. No software is required. The speed of data transfer through the Wireless Phone Line Extender is between 22kbps and 33kbps. ·Suitable for analogue phone lines only.
